Uganda House Investments Limited (UHIL), was established and incorporated in 1986 as a private limited liability company under the laws of Uganda. Its principal activity is real estate and property development and management. It manages Uganda House, which one of the iconic buildings in the Central Business District of  Kampala City..
The head office of Uganda House Investments Limited is located at Uganda House, Plot 10, Kampala Road, very close to the Parliament of Uganda and the offices of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).

COMPANY SHAREHOLDERS AND DIRECTORS

The company is wholly owned by Milton Obote foundation (MOF), a company limited by guarantee and without shares, which was established in 1964. The principal objective of the establishment of Milton Obote Foundation was to fight against ignorance poverty and disease for the realization of human dignity.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

The general management of the business of Uganda House Investments Limited is by the Board of Directors, comprising of seven members.

Some of the objectives for whichUganda House Investments Limited is established include the following:

  1. To carry on the business of land developers, builders and contractors to construct, carry out repair, maintain, improve, manage, work control and superintend and buildings, offices, dwelling houses, housing estates, stores, go downs.
  • To construct in any part of Uganda, for sale, for letting, or for own use and management any buildings, offices, structures, dwelling houses, housing estates, storage structures or any pre-fabricated or portable versions of the same and purchase or otherwise to acquire and to carry on the manufacture of the any or all of them;
  • To carry on all or any of the businesses of manufacturers of and dealers and workers in cement, lime, plasters, whiting, clays, gravels, sand, minerals, earth, artificial stone, bricks block, tiles, asbestos, metal enamel, and plastic piping, frames, fittings, glass, timber, corrugated iron, steel structures and building materials of any kind whatsoever.
